Bought a Czech dictionery from slavic importer of Slavic books
on our floor - $4.

Thinking of a GAME based on the idea Lech sent in his last
letter. A board has squares with numbers Each player has
10 dominos [crossed out] all combinations of the numbers 1 to 5
but not including doubles. The board is 12x12 and has the
numbers 1 to 5 and also blank spaces, which are wild.
The dominos are placed on the board so that the numbers
match the spaces. After the pcs. are on the board
(manner to be determined) players in turn move one pc.
to another place where it touches another pc. (to be
determined whether diagonal is acceptable). A pc. placed so
that it touches an opponent's picece (diagonally to be determined)
captures the piece. However it must of course
be next to one of the player's own pieces and also it must
have come from the same group that it is placed into.
Object (probably) to move across to the opponent's home you. Winning more can only be made from the same aroup that the piece is placed against. (To be tried out) Arthur called, He has a game (later named BORDERLINE) to show me next Tuesday... Tim Dunnagen over. He brought me. copies of 1914 and BATTLE OF BRITAIN Tim is working together with Chris Wagner who is president of project Analysis Corp. (P.A.C.). He is the publisher of STRATEGY & TACTICS which has articles on war games, Jim will get me a free subscription. He thinks might be able to write an article about my games and have it published... in the magazine, P.A.C. is going to put out a "Simulation series" of war games. They will sell, mainly mail order, for 44. The first one, due in November will be TANNENBERG done by Jim. It is an eastern front equivelent of 19140 but 'A-H gave permission to use it Another game which he has had success with which will probably be in the series is TACTICAL ARMOR GAME-RUSSIAN FRONT. For A-H Jim has done WALL STREET, which is being playtested by them, At first they wanted an historically based game but now have changed it to an abstract game, Jim wanted to do another wat game for them but they are having Someone else do next year's (even the JUTLAND and particularly 1914. have done very well). For Gamescience (Renwal) Tim is working on SINAI-1967 based on Israel war, Also an “Astrology" GAME. He has also one a CHESS variation called POLICHESS played on a ( cont, on 10/2)
