Drove Jerry to airport. [He took me to dinner last night,
payed for my breakfast this morning and payed the
entire hotel bill.] [I was supposed to drive him to Springfield
to see Mel Taft today but ,with his broken hip,
he wasn't comfortable enough to ride that far in my car.
Called Hank Simmons and arranged to come in at 11. Stopped
at 2nd hand book stone on way. Nothing. He kept me waiting
until 11:30. Spent 1 1/2 hours with him. I went over
FITTING & PROPER, TOTALLY--, and ANOTHER He liked them all, seeming particularly taken by the game part of the first.
He emphazised, however that his enthusiasm doesn't mean that they are accepted,
He said he thought that the day of game tous would soon be over and people would be demanding something that would make them think..... He asked me what games I had on the market and I told him of ACQUIRE BAZAAR. Focus CASE OF THE ELUSIVE ASSASSIN.... and that there were others which I was not at liberty to divulge. He gave me an 1968 catalog. spent afternoon at the ESSEX INSTITUTE. At the library saw the following books in Book OF GAMES by Kate Greenaway (Children's games.) PINS AND PINCUSHIONS. by E.D. Longman & Sophy Loch. (A number of games played with pins both the sticking type and those that balls kknock down, as well as a lot of other material on pins.) In "pam-lu" Par bam is the 2 80, not the J Bre) [ I'll have to look at the book again ] In library also saw a game called VILLAGE PORTRAITS a Goose" game with a 36 space track. No rules with it, There was also a catalog from Noyes, Show & Company of Worcester, 1876. The following games are advertised?
