Saturday 16 March 1968
76th day - 290 days to come
Rcd. another letter from Haar Hoolim about DELPHI and
APPROACH. He apparently has not been informed about
HAAR HOOLIM's PERCEPTION GAMES.
Caught up the diary with all the Toy Fair news.
Spoke to Claude and told him of Alice's call last night.
With Dave to Jackie Panzer and bought ROUND THE WORLD NELLIE BLY
(for $2) and PATIENCE (for $3). Didn't buy THE FLYING GAME
because it was an ordinary single path game.
With Marylin, Dave & their friends Stu and Louella started a
game of FAIR TRADE. Just started with Marylin felt sick
and we stopped. I did decide, however, to change the number of
players to from 3 to 6. Also in making up the pool, make it 60
chips regardless of the number of players.
Remembered another point from last Wednesday. Phil Orbanes said that
he, Lou & James Dunnagan [Dunnigan] had an idea for a war GAME of the A-H
type. They got together with A-H and rather than compete with each
other they will do the do the game for A-H. A-H, they say, gives
royalties of 2 1/2% of retail price. They don't sell as many copies as
I told Phil that ACQUIRE sold.
