57th day - 309 days to come

Called Abercrombie & Fitch with the idea of going there at lunch time to look at MINITAR. The clerk said they definitely didn't have it and couldn't understand why the ad was placed.

Took out the ad for ORGY from the March Playboy and filed it in the 1968 Ad Clips folder.

Wrote a short letter to Dr. Atwater and sent him a signed contract (Disclosure Form).

more areas wins the game. (See below for Rockwell's address.)

Met James Dunnagan again & he introduced me to Phil Orbanes of Gamescience Corp. He is still in college but he is doing well enough for Renwal (which has been taken over by Allstate) to be interested in backing him. He will go along if he can keep his autonomy.
He puts out VIET NAM (in a new box), CONFRONTATION (a new edition in a flat box, with plastic board, and improved rules), NUCLEAR WAR (which he took over from Doug Malawicki) and THE BATTLE OF BRITAIN invented by Louis Zocchi who was also there. (See 1968 Ad Clips).
Phil and Lou are both ACQUIRE fans. Phil wants to expand into non-war games and would like me to work on them for him. Told him about AIRLINES and he is interested in seeing it. Will visit me sometime in May.
I told Phil and Lou about FOCUS and they want me to send the booklet.
Phil told me about a game DOUBLE THINK they want to develop but haven't been able to. Roughly it will be a deck of cards with different parts for constructing a secret weapon, and ways of spying to get information from other players. To win it should be necessary to figure the way the opponent will think you will think. I said I'd work on it. Phil suggested my taking part of my royalties in stock so as to become part of the company. I said I thought it a good idea.
They both collect games. Lou had a copy of PORT-OF-CALL with him. Phil says he has a game INVEST and I asked him to send me a reproduction of the rules.

At an exhibit for a gym met a fellow who was interested in whether I could make up games for promotion such as
