Quinquagesima 56th day - 310 days to come
Claude called. Jacquie played KNOTS TO YOU at her party and it worked
very well. Claude put as many knots as the length of the ropes
permitted and this lengthened and improved the game.
They also played BAZAAR and all enjoyed it.
Wrote a letter to Jim Morgan. BB types it and my rules for
PENALTY BAZAAR.
Looking at some games and noticed that [word crossed out] there was water damage
on some boxes and on some boards, worst on Scarne's
CHALLENGE. Moved all the piles next to the outside wall away
from the wall in back.

Split the penalty with his partner or break the partnership and
stick his partner with the whole thing. If an [crossed out] the partner
later catches him he will get revenge. (very rough idea)
SKIRMISH:- A word game played similar to BATTLESHIPS.
Place the letter cards to form secret words and line them
up with a coordinate system on the stand. Call for
specific coordinates and find out whether there is a line
there or the point is empty. Determine the word by building up the letter patterns.
Aco Games:- To FACULTY CARDS they have added some pads of
pencil and paper games. Nothing new. Mr. Samuels said
he would send me a copy of "Faculty Cards."

Stancraft Products:- Met Jim Rockwell, the man in charge of new
products. I mentioned Alex Randolph and he was quite pleasant.
He wants to look at my three games. He is going to call
Atwater about Alex's contracts (his secretary lost them) and
will mention meeting me. He has been corresponding with Alex
concerning his games, and hopes to be corresponding with me. He
told me about Alex's game of CASTILLE. Each player has
two types of pcs. -queen move and rook move (I think) - There
are five areas on the board and when a player has sole
possession of an area it is his. Except that if he vacates
it the opponent may move in and occupy it. Winning 3 or
