Saturday 21 November 1964
Presentation of B. V. Mary 326th day - 40 days to come
Went to the stores in Paramus N.J. Saw the following games: -
SEE NEW YORK GAME (Trans) Had path map of New York
with tourist attractions. Could not see rules.
TURNING POINT (TAG) same as TAKE 12.
KING OF THE HILL (SHAPER) Three dimensional board with paths.
Some spaces have holes which take marble back to
a lower spot. Children's game.
BOG HOUSE (Lakeside) Children's game where players draw
cards to assemble "bug houses" piece by piece. Did not
look @ rules.
Bought [illegible word crossed out] BURKE'S LAW (Trans.).
Played Q.E.D. with Phil & Annette. Used same rules as
yesterday but limited the 3 piles to five cards each.
Worked well except that Phil made an exceptional big coup
on the last card to win [letter crossed out] the game. Also, a player
once he has a combination can sit on it and reduce his
hand. This can be helped by allowing a player to
cash in a combination on the same turn after trading
or shaking.
