Wednesday 11 November 1964 Veterans' Day 316th day - 50 days to come
At Macy's saw the 3M games.
TWIXT had new rules for a four-hand version. Partners play together in any area of the board. The only differ- ence is that a player at any time can say "priviledge". The next opponent misses his turn and partner of player saying "priviledge" plays. Each team is allowed privi- ledge once in a game and can use if whenever they wish. (This could be used just a well in a two-hand game)
Saw Alice & Felicia & Ruth ? the inventer of PEACHY [illegible letter crossed out in word] a game we played 5 and then 4-handed during the evening. A deck of 36 cards is used; 7 suits of 5 cards each and the "peachie" card-worth 50 points. The seven suits "Pears" and each has cards valued 5, 10, 15, 20, 25 points. When played by 2 deal 12 cards to each & others are not used. When played by 3 to 6 deal out all cards (ex- cept with 5, discard 1 card). The dealer leads to the first trick. Suit must be followed.
