Monday 24 August 1964 St. Bartholomew, Apostle 237th day - 129 days to come

Looked thru [through] several Playthings Magazines and put some clippings in files.

Spoke to Ed Weber about my doing a column on games as a companion to his column on finances. He liked the idea. We're to get together to talk next week.

He told me of a GAME IDEA. Cards are given out to all the players by "the detective". All are blank except one which identifies "the murderer." The detective gives each a word-association test. The "murderer" can be identified because he gives answers that try to be completely innocuous. (Or at least that is the theory.)
