Rc'd. letter from 3M. They have been trying ACQUIRE all summer
and have adapted a variation which allows purchase of 3
shares on a turn, and gives a founder's bonus of 1 share. The
4 of us tried it and it wasn't too bad. Letter said that
it was very popular with test panel & those who bought it.
Also sent picture of new back cover of box - pretty.
Call from Chuck Baiter at Look. Pictures to be taken tomorrow.
Aurthor [Arthur] called. He and Wald have made a simplification
of POWER which they call POWUR. We will play it next time
we get together.
Thinking of changes in THE FIRST MILLION. Each player
has an individual (and different) path instead of having
a common path. This would probably make it much
less possible for the rest to gang up on the leader;
at least they couldn't stop him from taking a profit.
