SATURDAY 4 JANUARY
1964 4th day - 362 days to come
Rcd. 2 orders for FOCUS. One from:
Gerald G. Gould
111 Roney Lane
Syracuse, N.Y. 13210
asks if I know the following game. I don't.
UNKNOWN GAME:- Each player is allotted a sum of money
with which he buys the kinds of units he wants. There
are various kinds of ground forces aircraft and anti-
aircraft missiles. There is no naval involvement. The playing
board consists of spaces representing different kinds of
terrain, some of which contain cities. Combat situations are
resolved on a principle of outnumbering combined with chance.
Reserves (which can be in one of three different levels of
readiness) play an important part in the game.
Claude called from Greenwich [Village]. Store there
with same antique games. (See 1/6.)
