Quick look at my games, books, files, and Parker material. Took plane to Chicago. Met Bud Meier of 3M. [star] was on Jack Eigen's radio program on WMAG for abt. 40 minutes

At Brentano's saw LO-MAN (Are-Jay Co. - Cleveland). - Another game of throwing 2 dice and turning over number from 1 to 9. Low score (man) wins.

SPACE FUN (Review & Herald Publ. Co. - Wash. D.C.) - card-quiz game based on space.

Españ ESPAÑOL (Exclusive Playing Card Co. - Chicago) Cards with Spanish words on them. Game is played similar to ANAGRAMS using sentences instead of words.

PURSUIT - Another Parchisi variation played with marbles in holes.

DOMO-SOLO (From Holland). Set of 15 dominos with all combinations, of 3 colo including doubles, of 5 colors. Object is to make a 5 x 6 layout in which each color appears in row of 3 (2 rows for each color). There are chips of colors matching the dominos. These can be set in positions which have to be matched, by color, in the final layout. From 4 to 7 chips can be used and there is definite way of arranging them which I didn't get. A solitaire game - or rather puzzle.

WHIST-O [WHIST-BINGO] (Lucio P. & Linda M. Salvucci - 1965) Each player has a layout with 4 vertical columns, each with the 13 cards of 1 suit arranged in order. Play is in tricks and the winner of a trick covers cards on his layout. Appar- antly only cards of the suit led are covered but this is not at all clear in the instructions. Object is to cover 5 in a row of 1 suit or 4 of the same rank.

At Palmer House gift shop bought 3-LETTER WORD (Gizz Fun Games)

At Marshall-Field bought 2 books:- GONG HEE FOT CHOY & HANDBOOK OF MOST WIDELY USED BRIDGE CONVENTIONS

At Brentano's bought PIRATE'S HUNT (Washburne).

[star] was interviewed by a reporter from The Chicago Daily News, and photographed. Was told it would be used on Wednesday of this week. [crossed out, illegible]
