Saturday 6 November 1965
310th day - 55 days to come
Rcd. letter from Bill Bentzin with suggested questions,
and answers, for my tour. Most are good. Just a few
need discussion.
Worked all day on layout and then pcs. for playing
CONCENSUS. Played it with Marilyn, Dave, Dale, Dane, BB
& myself. It was definitely not popular. Played as
follows : - Use 36 cardboard squares, most with 3
different (out of 6) colors but some with 2 & 4.
These are shuffled and laid out on a 6 x 6 grid,
the spaces having numbers as shown in the first
diagram. Each player has a BINGO - type layout with
numbers are as shown in the second diagram.
[2 DIAGRAMS]
[DIAGRAM #1 (ON LEFT) IS A 6 x 6 GRID POPULATED WITH ALL OF THE NUMBERS FROM 1-36 IN A SEEMINGLY RANDOM ORDER]
[DIAGRAM #2 (ON RIGHT) IS A 6 x 6 GRID POPULATED WITH ALL OF THE NUMBERS FROM 1-36 IN ORDER FROM 1-36. 1 IS AT THE TOP LEFT CORNER. 36 IS AT THE BOTTOM RIGHT CORNER.]
