Thursday 28 October 1965
Sts. Simon and Jude, Apostles
301st day - 64 days to come
Spoke to Claude. He told Mattel of some ideas for
noise box of a passtime variety. What they really
want are games. Also gave him another $100 assignment
to work up some new games to play on
MAGNATEL table. Made date for us to get together
at his house Friday - tomorrow.
Bought November POPULAR SCIENCE magazine with
article by Herbert Shuldiner on games. Not too good.
Also there was the following classified ad : -
GAMES inventors! We are interested in new and novel child and
adult game ideas. Nationally - known game manufacturing and
marketing firm. Send for details. Hagglund and Associates
Research, Dept. B, 650 Ottoea Ave N., Minneapolis 22, Minn.
Pictured, but not mentioned, was a game PSYTEGE.
Met Bill Bentzin for supper. Diacussed the tour in very
general terms. He will send me a list of suggested
questions & answers for my comments.
Rcd. a FOCUS order from England.
Rcd. a short letter from Haar Hoolim.
(cont. from 10/30)
be stopped on. Object is to reach a defense plant and
got a card representing secret plans or possibly 2
locations with 2 sets of plans. (Has to be worked out.)
(The sound box can contain up to 21 different sounds
which are repruduced randomly when the string is pulled.)
Played NOMINATION. I won. Everyone like it - better than
CINEMA.
