275th day - 90 days to come
At Marylin's met another couple. They had a game made up by
another tenant in the house. They brought the copy for me
to look at,
BUY-LO SELL-HI Copr. 1960 - Vincent P. Burbridge.
Played with a deck of 48 special cards. There are 4 suits -
"Air", "Oil", "Bus", "Tel". Each suit has the following cards : -
Buy 1, 3, 5, 7, 9, 11
Sell 2, 4, 6, 8, 10, 12
2 to 6 can play. With more use 2 decks. Each is dealt 6 cards.
Play is like rummy. Object is to collect 3 "winning trades".
A winning trade consists of two cards of the same stock, a buy
and a sell. Thes sell must be higher. The player with
the winning hand scores the difference between the numbers
of each "winning trade". In a winning hand 2 or even 3
of the "trades" can be in the same stock. If deck is exhausted
before anyone has a winning hand, leave top card of discard
pile & turn remainder for new drawing deck.
Played 6 handed FILM - THE LIVELY ART. Marilyn won. I think
it will be better to use "critics" singly, each one
increasing the value 1 star. Any number can be used on a
picture
