BILL Bentzin of 3M called long distance. The trip is on.
They would like the week before and the week after
Thanksgiving. Spoke to Bob and he doesn't like the idea of
splitting the weeks. Called Bill and told him that I could
take the time if necessary, but that my employer would
prefer the weeks together. The trip will be to Chicago,
Cleveland, Pittsburg, Boston, Philadelphia, and Washington.
Alice called. Whitman wrote. Consumer reaction to FOCUS
so far is good. The check will come shortly.
Alice got a letter from the Marlboro advertising people. They
are interested in a MARLBORO COUNTRY game. It must be
an adult game because cigarette advertising must not
appeal to minors.
A letter, which Bill Bentzin said would come, came. It covered
the ground we spoke of on phone.
