Thinking of a game COALITIONS based on game theory (see page 45 of GAME THEORY AND RELATED APPROACHES TO SOCIAL BEHAVIOR).

Bill Caruson called by long distance. Wanted to know if I had received the $80. Also wanted to know if I had told Al Vogel about their payment policy. I said "no." Also said that the publicity tour was definitely on and I'd get further information by letter from Bill Bentzin. Said that they'd Gon test market the three games I looked at. Said that they will also have a long form of MR. PRESIDNET where each state is bid for individually (the bidding deck being used 4 times - once in the entire game two cards being played together). In the case of tie, the decision is by lot. I told him of my suggested rule of having a map in which players marks the states they have won. When a state is up for bids, players having adjoining states get an advantage. He thought it interesting but doubts if they can afford to include the map. Said that he would take along my games when he comes to New York in the next few months. No rush on them 'till that time.
