WEDNESDAY 31 MARCH
1965 90th day - 275 days to come
GAME IDEA . Quadrille board with quite a few squares. A given
number of markers of different value are placed, possibly
by card designation, on the board. Players have pcs. which
have 2 numbers on them, one representing the range and
the other the power. The range indicates the number of boxes [crossed out, illegible]
within which the pc. is effective (see illus.).
Players in turn place their pcs. trying to get as
much power as possible on the most scoring
pcs. Probably will need limitations to where pcs.
may be played. After pcs. are down, players in
turn choose a value pc. and the power bearing on
it is counted. In case of tie the player whose turn
it was or nearest to him in turn wins. (Rough
idea to be worked out.)
