Sunday 17 January 1965
Benjamin Franklin - Born 1706
Second Sunday after Epiphany
17th day - 348 days to come
Wrote air letter to Haar Hoolim.
In Times took out ad for SCRABBLE CROSSWORD CUBES.
(In '65 Ad clips.)
BB & I pretty much decided on the name COMPUTE to
replace Q.E.D.
Thinking of a simple race game played with rolling cubes
(See 1/15) which could be called WOBBLE. Play on a
fairly large quadrille board. there are heavy lines between
some of the squares which form a single path from a
starting square to a finish square, and with considerable
turns. Move along the path turning over on each move. End
turn when reach a certain color (chosen by some chance
method). One color could force a backwards move. Could
also be played on a board with paths that also frequent
choice which would call for skill in avoiding having
the stop color turned up.
