Rcd. [received] X'Mas [Christmas] card from Stan Chess.
Bill Riva had a huge poinsettia plant delivered to us with a card.

Finished the cha final layout for INVASION. Made changes in the layout sheet for TRAVELS. At White Plains Rd. got 6 copies of the former, 4 of the latter.

Looked at my model and notes on NEWTOWN. Also went thru the diaries and found a few ideas. I think I will get color repros [reproductions] of the board to send to Walter Luc Hass, with general idea of the play.

Visit from Susan, Barbara, and Dave Horn - for supper. Played 3-hand FREE FORM with Susan & Dave. They liked it. Played 2-hand INVASION with Dave and considering that it was the first time I ever played it it went very well. Took out MERLIN and played around with the "Magic Square" puzzle and then the MASTER MIND variation. Susan was fascinated by it.
