16 Sunday - April 1978
Fourth Sunday of Easter - 106th day - 259 days to come

Pasted the illustration on the ABOVE AND BEYOND rules. In the evening added scoring tracks to the board. Added color circles to the board for THE RIGHT WORD to indicate which lines of letters belonged to whom.

With the Horns to Roosevelt Raceway. Bought STRAT-O-MATIC PRO FOOTBALL - 50¢ - seems complete; COMBAT - 50¢ - one "stand" missing; CONFLICT - 75¢ - with metal pcs. [pieces], 1 red gun and 2 yellow ships missing. Didn't buy THEY'RE AT THE POST - played with 8 records; GULP 'N GIGGLE - basic idea is to get rid of your blocks by piling them in the center according to spaces that you land on going along the outside path. If you make the pile fall down you have to take all the blocks; CROSS OVER THE BRIDGE seemed mildly interesting but didn't buy; CONVOY - getting money by completing 3 trip and landing on lucky spaces; STRATEGIC COMMAND - no rules and wasn't sure if all pcs. [pieces] there - at home found a good description of it in '63 diary.
In COMBAT some cards are also missing. The box was in such bad condition that I discarded it and put the matl. [material] in STRAT-O-MATIC FOOTBALL box.

Two calls from Claude. He talked about DIABOLIC SQUARES and NEXT. Made date for 4/28. I asked, and THE BIG BOARD he bought for me was by "Dadan." (Pretty sure I have it.)
