232nd day - 133 days to come

Rcd. [received] notice from I.R.S. that my 1975 tax has been accepted.

Called Phil Orbanes to tell him of change tomorrow at WMCA. Told him of Richard Moon's request for THE WINNING TICKET. Have him request it with his letterhead.

To visit the Corn's. There for lunch and then for supper. (Brought some tea) Brought the following for Ronnie: A MIGHTY FORTRESS, NORTH AFRICA, SUSPICION (a trade), SPACE CHECKERS, DUBBLE UP (which he forgot at my house); repros [reproductions] of XERXES, WHO, ARMAGEDDON (which he bought at Games Gallery in the meantime), TRICK & TRAP. Subscription cards from PLAYTHINGS and TOYS. Also brought the duplicate copy of SECOND MISCELLANY OF PUZZLES - but he has it and I took it back.
For Steve brought the following: A MIGHTY FORTRESS, S&T #56, MOVES 27, 28, 30, 32, 33 (he has 29 and I don't have dupes [duplicates] of 31). He gave me the repro of the rules for BALL BUSTER and the copies of PIT-WITZ and SEAQUEST (the other part of the trade). These come from Singapore (which is another reason Graeme Levin didn't know anything about PIT-WITZ and the missing parts).
On way to flea market in Newton stopped at a yard sale. I bought copies of SITUATION 7 and SITUATION 4 for 50¢ each. (Later checked them and found that all of the puzzle pcs. [pieces]were there, but a few plastic pcs. were missing. Replaced them from the sets I bought on 9/12/76 and 6/3/77.) Also bought a book MAZES for 10¢. Also GAME INVENTOR'S KIT for 35¢ (discarded the box and kept the pcs. and board as equp't. [equipment]).
Ronnie bought 3UP and EASY MONEY for the equp't. He bought a deluxe KEYWORD for 75¢, which he didn't have. For 10¢ he bought LUCKIE STRIKE: There is a deck of 40 cards divided into fou ten sets of four. When 3 play 5 sets are used (20 cards); 4-7 sets; 5-8 sets; 6-9 sets; 7-10 sets. There are 6 sticks and one less than the number of players is used. The cards are all dealt out. Then simultaneously players pass a card to the left. When a player completes a set of 4 he places it face up on the table and takes a stick. Others then grab. Player placing the set marks off a letter along "Luckie" on a score sheet. Player without a stick, or who makes a mistake, marks off along "Strike."
