14 Sunday - August 1977
Eleventh Sunday of Trinity - 226 day - 139 days to come

Called Ronnie Corn to tell him about WMCA tonight. He was in Albany yesterday (when I called). There was a store that he found there that had a lot of older games - such as BROKER, CARAEACE, KING CHECK (see '71) and others - but none that I didn't have. At a flea market in their neighborhood - only on Sundays - he picked up a copy of TELL IT TO THE JUDGE for $3 (or it might have been $4). There is another flea market on Saturday so we'll get there at 1 (after lunch) next Saturday. I asked Ronnie if he had GOOSES WILD, yes. SPACE CHECKERS; no.
Dale brought me a copy of INTERNATIONAL SKI TEAM RACE - a duplicate. In my talk with Ronnie he said he had a date with Ned Strongin tomorrow. He had called when Ned was out. The secretary asked how he had heard of Strongin and he said from the trade magazines. She said that he was a developer, not an agent - but he called back and set up the date. He didn't contact "Ted Wolf," (see 7/16).

Dake and Phil brought me clipping from BERGEN RECORD on MB's COMP IV and ELECTRONIC BATTLESHIP.

To WMCA for Pablo Guzman show. Pat Leonard forgot to leave word to let me up and had to spend 25¢ in telephone calls. Because of baseball game didn't get on till about 6:20 and there were loads of commercials. Pablo got in plugs for THE WINNING TICKET and the "Beyond" series, particularly BEYOND COMPETITION. In his question on how I got games ideas I discussed BAZAAR. One caller asked about DOMINOS in general. Another asked
