Letter from Bill Dohrmann about BAZAAR.
Letter from Bill Dohrmann about BAZAAR.
Lunch visit by Phil Orbanes. He returned WIRETAP and THE RIGHT WORD.
The former is dead. The latter is a definite possibility for '79 [1979].
Two things that would make it more acceptable. A better way of
recording letters that have been earned - something built into the
frame that can be moved; continuing the game after a player has
picked up his 2nd 25 point letter - possibly giving him a bonus and
continuing for a set number of additional rounds. There was some extra
material that Phil had had made up in the box for THE RIGHT WORD
Told Phil that I had sent THE 6 PACK OF PAPER & PENCIL GAMES to France
for consideration, and I'll keep him posted if anything comes of it.
Phil is working on a trading GAME, different from WHAT'S IT WORTH TO YOU?
or COLLECTOR'S CHOICE as we once called it. Jules Cooper wants a secret
objective that each player is working towards. He asked if I had any games
that might give him ideas. Showed him HAGGLE (Stelladar). He said that
when he was working at "Gamut" Gini Scott had presented a game she called
HAGGLE which was almost the same - except that the values of the objects
are given to the players on a card.
Phil asked if I had a game HORSE TRADER by Springbok. Never heard
of it. He said that it had something to do with putting together jigsaw puzzles
of horses behind a screen - and trading pcs. [pieces]
