(cont. from 1/15) [1/17]

Mike asked if I had rcd. the review copies I wanted. No. He gave me copies of WORD MASTER MIND, FOUR SIGHT, WORDS WORTH, and a pricelist, with some corrections (placed in WORDS WORTH box). He looked at the boxes for PIECES OF NINE, but they were all empty, so he couldn't give me one for my collection - it has been discontinued.

To S.P.I. Made the following repros [reproductions]: THE COLLECTORS CATALOG & PRICE GUIDE TO WARGAMES - for Graeme Levin; sheets for the 6 games in BEYOND COMPETITION - most of SPACE EXPLORER.
Spoke to Brad Hessel and it will be O.K. if I bring my next column in as late as 1/31.
Took a copy of AFTER THE HOLOCAUST. Also duplicate copies of OUTREACH, STARFORCE, MINUTEMAN, and DREADNOUGHT in bays; CONQUISTADOR in a box; PRESTAGS MASTER-PACK - containing CHARIOT, SPARTAN, LEGION, VIKING, and YEOMAN.
Spoke to Redmund Simonsen about AFTER THE HOLOCAUST, saying it looks interesting. He said that it wasn't an easy game - with lots of bookkeeping. Said tha I'd look at the rules.

While I was at Felicia's, she mentioned that Dick Harris may have left M.B. because he was upset at Roy Nyman being put over him. She never met Nyman; I told her I had at Toy Fair last year. (This may have happened some other time-possibly in a telephone call.)

At S.P.I. picked up a letter to me from Loren Dunton. Short note and enclosed a pad of KWATRO put out by "Amoco."

In TIME article on Rupert Murdoch, mention of TWO-UP, an Australian game - two coins are flipped at once - two heads you win; two tails you love [lose]; one of each - toss again.

Letter from Gini Scott. Would appreciate catalogs. Mentioned SPIRITUAL GROWTH, GANGLAND. Enclosed AGA Newsletter (vol. 7, no. 2). Larry Heller is listed as V.P.
