3rd day - 362 days to come

Rcd. [received] letter from Tom Shaw about A.H.'s takeover of the Aladdin line.
Rcd. new catalog from "American Stationery."

Call from Felicia. She hears from Andrea Green that Bill Dohrmann flounders in choosing games. She'd like me to broach the idea of Felicia and my going on retainer with Parker as game evaluators. Said I'd try my best to bring it up displomatically when I am with Bill.
Read her my letter from Tom Shaw.
She asked if I knew a game - ZENN. No. It is popular in the Memphis area. The manufacturer wants to go national and she may be retained by him - "Benander Games."
An envelope with the BAZAAR insides came today, but they are beat up and some are missing.
2nd call. She has some great new action games and she is sure she'll sell some at Toy Fair. The inventor of SNAG-A-MOUSE has a great action Mountain Climbing GAME. In the meantime she needs $1,000 by Jan. [January] 10th, to tide her over until the end of February.
Bill Kirk called her, in answer to her call to him. He said they are hoppin hoping for a good fourth quarter in Japan. Bud Thomas will be the liaison between Aladdin and A.H. and we should contact him if we have any questions.
Felicia suggested my bringing FITTING & PROPER and THE RIGHT CONNECTIONS to P. I told that I was intending to bring BAZAAR, ANOTHER, SHAPE & SHATTER, DARN CLEVER, and DIAMOND MINE and that Bill had suggested 5 or 6 as the number to bring. But there is no harm in taking them, just in case.
3rd call. She asked for the earnings of ACQUIRE, SLEUTH, and EXECUTIVE DECISION (see 3/21/76). She will check whether Chuck Dougherty wants to buy 10% of these (leaving her with 5%). Last year he was interested in buying a pc. [piece] of BALI or of the buying into I.S. Ult. She'd rather not give up part of BALI, but will if she has to. I suggested that Norman Monath might be interested in buying a pc. of BALI, but she doesn't think that he has the money. Also, Rappaports owes her money for writing their ads but they don't pay her until they are billed by the media. I suggested asking for an advance, but that doesn't look good, she said,
Several months ago Dick Harris in strict confidence, called her about the Aladdin games - for M.B. When she spoke to Bill Kirk he said that some big companies had been interested, but they wanted to pick and choose.

Sent the card to Don Miller (see 12/31/76) with a note on the outside of the envelope saying to forget about BILLIARDS CHESS.
Sent card and memo to Frank Thibault. Mentioned REGATTA, OTHELLO, REVERSI, MASTERMIND, COWS AND BULLS, BEYOND SOLITAIRE
