125th Day - 241 Days to Come

Rcd. [received] flyers for two new magazines: FIRE & MOVEMENT and AFV-G2. (Filed in "Misc. Wargaming" Folder.)

Call from Phil Orbanes. In a publication they get at Ideal he saw that Hallmark had filed for the following "Trademarks" - plus some other that Phil didn't remember: BARRICADE, TAKEOVER, ALL ABOARD, FANG DER HUT, JOCKEY. He asked if I knew anything about it. Yes, Hallmark is taking some games originally done in Germany (tho not all of these are familiar).

Going over all the material I have on BAZAAR in my diaries, preparatory to writing to Tom Shaw.

Call from Felicia. She was trying to remember the name of "the nicest one we dealt with at Hallmark." Finally found Arnold Shapiro in the Hallmark folder.
In getting A.H. [Avalon Hill] to take HIGH BID Larry & Pearl Winters made a couple of trips to Baltimore. They felt that it was a pleasure to deal with Tom Shaw. Since he really likes games - in contrast to 3M where they were only company workers.

Doing some more coloring on the repros of the equipment for 1829. (Have been doing this in spare minutes for some time.)
