FEBRUARY 1976 - MONDAY 2
GROUNDHOG DAY - PRESENTATION OF THE LORD - 33RD DAY - 333 DAYS TO COME

Called Fabio and set date for Thurs. at 11.

Call from Mike Alber. He told me the name of the woman at P.
who is taking over the P.R. duties - but I didn't record it
and then forgot. Mike is going to work for a soap company.

Called Phil Orbanes. Not in and he'll call tomorrow.

Called Henry George School and got info on RURAL-URBAN LAND USE SIMULATION.

For S & T column wrote up THE CONTRACTING GAME, IN$URANCE, and CHAIRMAN OF THE BOARD.

(cont. from 2/1) [2/1]

the Henry George School (later got name RURAL-URBAN LAND USE SIMULATION,
which is only $10 for 10 sessions - on Tues. from 6:30 to 8:30. Earl Perel
and Wald Amberstone will probably join up. I said I'd think about
it and took the school's number -- [Phone number omitted for privacy.] --
to get more info. Claude is thinking of having a number of different games &
puzzles in his book; instead of just the "Diabolic Squares"
Among them: NEXT (with the field in the shape of a devil),
PATHS LOGICAL; UPSTAGE; his NIM variation with spaces connected
with lines running in different directions - players marking
off one or more spaces along a line; his TIC TAC TOE variation
where the winning row must add up to a pre-chosen 14, 15,
or 16.

Dickerson said that if there are any further questions we can
always call him at [phone number omitted for privacy]. Also that
{Erik Dott
{[phone number omitted for privacy]

Called Felicia to tell her of Dickerson's call. She appreciated my
bringing up HIGH BID. Talking about HIGH BID
I told her that I'd bring in the letter/contracts for signing tomorrow morning.
She said that Henryk Szwarce gave her permission to make the
decisions on his IMAGE. Incidentally, he said that he thought
that FACTS IN FIVE was a lot like IMAGE. Of course it isn't
and it came first. (Later realized that he probably meant
EVENTS, not FACTS IN FIVE.)

Rcd. a royalty check for BEYOND TIC TAC TOE thru 9/30/75 - $1,791.89
over the advance. Deposited it and the AGOG check Dollar S.B.
Had a check for $260.17 made out for Bob Champer.

For S & T column wrote up SUPER CRIBBAGE and OH-SHLEMIEL!.
