X'mas card and note to Don Turnbull. Asked if he rcd. my letter of 8/4/75 and the copy of BEYOND TIC TAC TOE.

Wrote to Marek Pensko. Mentioned Lech Pijanowski, LABIRYNT, HALMA, CHINESE CHECKERS, FOOTBALL, AGOG.

At Art Supply store in Mt. Vernon bought a slightly damaged copy of ARABIC GEOMETRICAL PETTERNS & DESIGN ($3.00 instead of $3.50). (Decided that Dale & Phil will give it to me as an x'mas present.)

At P.O. on White Plains Ave. sent copy of BEYOND TIC TAC TOE to Mary Ellen & Lloyd.

Sent 2 "packets" of games to Walter Luc Haas (see 1/1).

From Lewis Pulsipher rcd. "Science Fiction and Fantasy Variant Package," together with a short note from Lew. The games included are :- LUNATIC DIPLOMACY II (by Thomas Galloway), BETWEEN GALAXIES I (L.P.), BARSOOM (L.P.), HYBORIAN AGE II (Burt Labelle), THE STAR KINGS (L.P.), THE DOWNFALL OF THE LORD OF THE RINGS AND THE RETURN OF THE KING I (Hartly Patterson), MIDDLE EARTH II (L.P.), MIDDLE EARTH V (L.P.), TIMESTEPS (L.P.), THE DYING EARTH (L.P.), QUANTUM SPACE (T.A. McCloud). these are all based on the standard DIPLOMACY system.

Rcd. letter from Steve Wilson. Discussed THE GAME OF 49.

Claude and Anne called off date for tonight because of a problem. We had intended bringing a SIX PACK OF PAPER & PENCIL GAMES, THE as a present for the kids; later discovered that we had given one to Claude already.

BB tried PINBALL, INVESTMENT, ALONE TOGETHER, and FOUR COLOR. She was satisfied with all of them except INVESTMENT. I still think that there is no challenge in FOUR COLOR.
