Got an idea for a game TOLSTOY. A field of letters is printed, with some empty spaces to be filled in by the "Russian" player. The "French" player invades by forming a word. The Russian then forms a word to use up spaces so as to stop the invader from reaching high score "cities." A word either player forms can be a maximum of one letter long- er than the previous word by the player, and the first word by each player is a maximum of 3 letters long. The invader has the priviledge [sic] of changing one letter to any other he wishes on each of his turns. (To be worked out.)
Call from Stan of Athol. He was going over my rules for THE GAME CUBE and had a few questions - on places where I slipped and used the wrong word. I asked if the game rules were clear. He said that he was just looking for outright errors, but that it seemed clear.
