Rcd. a "Bicentennial Calendar 1976" from "Advertisers Marketing Services" Gerald Daugherty's outfit.
Wrote letter asking for review copy of THE CONTRACTING GAME
Call from Robert Horn while I was out. Another call while I was home. He will be in new
Rcd. [received] a catalog from "Classic Games" - from PLAYTHINGS card. Aside from CHESS they included SAM'S HOOLIGAN, CAMMY, YACHT, SLOTS & SPOTS, BACK IN THE BOX, and MAGNA/TEASE PUZZLE. (Filed in '75 misc. [1975 miscellaneous])
To Thrift Shops with BB, Claude, and Anne. Bought a copy of CHAMPIONSHIP BASEBALL for $2. Bought a copy of WILD LIFE for $.75. (Both seem to be complete.)
Claude gave me the copy of BOTTOMS UP that he bought. Payed him 25¢. At a German import store on 86th St. saw KÖPCHEN- KÖPCHEN (see '74 [1974]). There is a quadrille board with some colored spaces. The letter tiles are marked on the backs so that vowels are differentiated from consonants. Each player starts with 7 consonants and 3 vowel. Words are formed on the board with x-word style. Object is to be the first to get rid of all the tiles. When words are formed on colored squares players, depending on the color, pass a tile to another player, take one from another player, take one from the stock, etc. (not sure of details.)

Ratings of DUNGEONS AND DRAGONS, STELLAR CONQUEST, LENSMAN, TRIPLANETARY, STARFORCE, STAR PROBE, STAR LORD, ALIENCE SPACE, SIEGE OF MINAS TIRITH, 4000 A.D., BATTLE OF HELMS DEEP, BATTLE OF FIVE ARMIES.
