<br>Twenty-fifth Sunday after Pentecost - 313th day - 52 days to come | |||
---- | |||
At bazaar on Seymour Ave. bought a copy of <u>LONG SHOT</u> for | |||
$1.25. The cards are all there. Some of the betting tabs are missing - | |||
but not many. One of the horses was missing but there was a set of | |||
8 horses from another game. Took one of these to replace the missing horse. | |||
Put all the material in the box with <u>SPACE CHESS</u> - since the box was | |||
unusable. | |||
<br>The other game in the box I determined to be <u>EDDIE ARCARO SWEEPSTAKES</u>, | |||
which I have. Put the three dice with my original set. Put the board in | |||
box with <s>duplicate</s> other games. Put the horses and some other odd pcs. that | |||
were in the box in drawer of misc. parts. | |||
<br>There also was a masonite checkerboard, in poor shape (the colors smeared), | |||
which I kept just for the masonite. | |||
<br>Bought a package of 15 "Map Pins" for 15¢. | |||
<br>Bought 2 boxes of "Ko-Rec-Type Matchbooks" (54 in one, 51 in other) for $1. | |||
<br>At bazaar in White Plains bought a folder <u>POPULAR BRIDGE CONVENTIONS</u> | |||
for 5¢. Put it in together with Culbertson's <u>CONTRACT BRIDGE COMPLETE</u>. | |||
---- | |||
<br>Actually this was yesterday. | |||
<br>Call from <u>Felicia</u>. She asked me someone's name to save going to | |||
the office tomorrow morning -- <u>Rolf Myller</u>. | |||
---- | |||
(Cont. from 11/10) [11/10] | |||

<u>Chuck Dougherty</u>'s (who put out his own <u>BEAT POLLUTION</u>) that | |||
<u>Dick Harris</u> is quite interested in. | |||
<br>Wrote to <u>Graeme Levin</u> about the letter from Nelson on the <u>AGOG</u> | |||
royalty. Also mentioned <u>BEYOND TIC TAC TOE</u>, new games of mine for | |||
him to agent, <u>David Parlett</u> and <u>G&P</u>. | |||
<br>Wrote to Nelson about the <u>AGOG</u> royalty, mentioning <u>Graeme Levin</u>. | |||
Called the British Consulate to see if they could tell me anything | |||
about "exemption certificates." No. | |||
<br>Sent bill for $500 for <u>THE GAME CUBE</u> to <u>Bob Gellman</u>. | |||
<br>In my talk with <u>Phil Orbanes</u> he said that sometime he would | |||
like me to sit in on some game-testing sessions. He asked | |||
what my usual hourly charge is. I said $15 an hour and he | |||
said that was fine. |
