Rcd. a copy of SCRABBLE PLAYERS NEWSPAPER (Vol. 3/No. 5)
Call from Felicia. Don't remember (if she told me) how it came about
but she was talking to Aladdin's ad agency about the errors
that I found in the BALI rules. She asked me to write to them
pointing out what I found to be wrong, and the one to write to is:
Bud Thomas called about the letter Felicia wrote - that Harold of Rap-
paport's ordered all the Aladdin games, but only got INTERSECTION.
He said the jobber is concentrating on sending TRIPPPLES (???)
The Scotts are thrilled with the new distribution idea of the West
Virginia company. She'll explain about it next time we get together.
Sent one copy of the "contract letter" back to 3M. (see 11/1.)
Call from Claude. In Sunday's TIMES he saw a big ad by M.B. for some-
one with game, production, graphic, and a lot of other kinds of
experience. He said he left the ad at home and I called Anne for
more details - but Claude had it with him.

thinks that it is a good game, but he is afraid that it is too close to
ELEUSIS. There are a number of cards with different "laws" and
one of the players takes me and looks at it. The other players
(it is a children's game) visit his country and if they break
the "laws" they are sent to jail. Object is to discover the
"laws". He told me his scoring system, but I don't remember it.
Phil wanted to talk about various game companies and was surprised
that I thought that M.B. games have been better than P. games for
the last couple of years - but didn't contradict me.
Phil bought a copy of SLEUTH for the office collection.
Al Zygier had some questions about my SLY corrections. Cleared them
up with him.
Just as I was leaving I noticed a copy of SIMULATION/GAMING/NEWS,
but didn't have the time to look at it.
Letter from Wade E. Philpott. In a visit to Martin Gardner he saw
a letter from Wesley Hosken about TOWERS. He asks if I have a
later address for Hosken.
In Dana's room noticed a box with a pattern that would make
interesting game equipment. There are squares divided into 3
