At Yale Co-op store saw a book <u>GAMES OF THE WORLD</u> - Holt,
Reinhart, Winston. This is another big book. Nothing new to me
(I am pretty sure) but some beautiful graphics. Also saw
<u>THE ILLUSTRATED BOOK OF TABLES GAMES</u> - St. Martin's Press.
This also didn't have anything new to me and the graphics
were not particularly interesting.
<br>Saw the "Political Satire Deck" (which is in the "Great Games
Gallery Catalog" - see 10/14). Looked at rules for
<u>POLITICAL SATIRE GAME</u>. It is played like <u>WAR</u> except that the
player leading (is the lead rotated?) picks the category -
such as name of person, country, capital, area, population.
If some kind of name the initial letter later in the al-
phabet wins. With numbers, largest wins. With names, if
both have same initial letter it is a tie and more cards are
dealt.
