Call from Claude while I was out and I called back. He was checking whether I had a game QUIEN SABÉ (P. 1906). He took a chance & bought it for $2. (I saw it at P. but don't have it.)
He bought THE EXECUTIVE STRATEGIST at B&N bargain store for $1.00. Sounded interesting and he said that there were a pile there.
He asked if I could be his agent for selling a book on his DIABOLIC SQUARES. These are "Magic Squares" but he has added colors to the number tiles and patterns are formed, which change as the various transpositions of the numbers are made. Since Pantheon has published a book on mazes using colors, this seems a natural follow-up. Offered to introduce him to Fabio Coen. He insists on my getting 10%.
POST had an article on society bigwigs playing PETROPOLIS. It is on sale at Sachs [sic] 5th Ave.
