<br>Enclosed xeroxes of <u>CORNER</u> rules, <u>JET CHESS</u>, and the page from
<u>FAIRY CHESS REVIEW</u>.
<br>Call from <u>Moses Goldman</u>. He got ahold of a game <u>RACING FANS</u>
that he thinks he might revive - it being defunct for several
years. It is a horserace game using 3 records. I told him
that I didn't know this particular game but have seen others using
records, and all that is involved is different grooves. There is no act-
ual playing by the players, other than placing bets. He asked if I
could change it into a board game not using records; I said that
it would be a different game - but that I could certainly come up with
one. He said that he wanted to send me the records, altho I
tried to discourage him. I told him I didn't have a stylus for a
78 rpm record. He said he'd send that too.
<br>Call from <u>Bob Ciano</u>, an artist with <u>ESQUIRE</u> magazine. He got
my name and address from <u>Barbara Heine</u> (see 1/17/74). A friend
of his has come up with a book on magic for children, with
special equipment for actual tricks. At first told him about
<u>Fabio Coen</u> but when I learned it wasn't straight printing
I gave him "Gamut of Games" address.
<br>Claude called and asked and I met him on 84th St. with the car
to carry a table (similar to ours) to his house.
He gave me the copy of <u>LES GRANDE AMIRAUX</u> (see 10/6) and wouldn't
accept the $2. The rules were missing, but with the included
summery [sic] and a description I have in <u>LA REVUE DU JOUET</u> (see '71)
I am sure I have all the info. (I am sure that this is the
same as <u>ADMIRALS</u> by Canadian Parker - see '73.)
He gave me the Oct. <u>SCIENTIFIC AMERICAN</u>. He'd like it back some-
time, but it is O.K. to take out <u>Martin Gardner</u>'s column.
<br>While I was out BB rcd. a call from <u>Gerald Daugherty</u> [home and business phone numbers]
I met him in 1969 thru <u>Felicia</u>.
He is interested in an airline
<u>GAME</u> that I did for him then
with Continental Airlines in mind. He has another airline in mind
now. I called him at his house. He'd like me to send him the
model of the game I did at that time. Told him I'd look for
it tomorrow morning and to call me about 11.
