Call from Phil Orbanes. Date on 10/7, between 1 & 2, to go over my
corrections on SLY.
Visit from Warren Buell (with a fancy cheese package).
He saw ACQUIRE in the "American Management Ass." bookstore - the
only game they have. He asked how it was selling. Not too
well - but the clerk said it was a good game.
His wife picked up a copy of DIET GAME (I believe) at a garage
sale. He asked if I had it. No. He'll send it to me - but it may be a
few weeks.
Gave him a copy of BEYOND TIC TAC TOE.
The three of us played BLOCKHEAD.
(cont. from 10/4) [10/7]
if they accept it. He told them he wanted to improve it and they said
that they want first look at it when he does.
Everything at P. bounced. (Did he show them BONEHEAD?)
He has placed Hans Goldschmidt's EYE WITNESS (see 2/18),
but with a name like FACES, with Cadaco and got an advance-
He got THE IMPUZZABLES back from Lakeside - he thinks they
are in trouble. He is manufacturing them himself and 15,000
were ordered (from one outfit I believe).
Told him about BEYOND TIC TAC TOE and told him I'd send him one.
Thanked him for the copy of BONEHEAD and told him about
Marilyn's Michael getting it from the postman and wanting it.
Jerry said he'd send me some more.
Asked about Frank Thibault. Hasn't been doing much with games
lately.
Played DOMINOES with dad & BB.
[arrows pointing to line above and line below] [started 10/17]
When discussing companies that went out of business, I believe
that Phil Orbanes told me that Four Generations is out of business -
but I might have heard it elsewhere.
Phil told me that Terry Hardy called him about mounting boards, and
that Phil gave him the info.
