Rcd. a letter from Graeme Levin thanking me for the
copy of BEYOND TIC TAC TOE. He suggested that another
copy would expedite their reviewing process. Called Fay Hartog
and she'll have one sent. She said that she had already sent
MATHEMATICAL CARNIVAL to me.
Card from Steve Wilson. He saw BEYOND TIC TAC TOE on a
shelf - Wow!!!
The letter I sent about PUBLIC TECHNOLOGU ASSESSMENT GAME
came back "unknown". (See 9/24.)

Call from Wald. The job with "Synergistics' went to someone just
out of college. Wald is now selling vacuum cleaners and wanted
to come here to practice his pitch. Told him I was much too busy.

Started work on S & T column for #53. Wrote up
LAND GRAB, WAR OF WIZARDS, and CHECKMATE.
