Letter from manufacturer of 1829. Mentioned KINGMAKER. They will not try to sell in U.S. until next season. Will send me first revue copy they send over.
Rcd. a copy of BONEHEAD from Jerry D'Arcey (& Michael wanted it).
Sent a copy of my S&T no. 51 column to Paul Belford. (see 9/29.)
Call from Art Tuite. When he was in Rochester (I believe) he had something to do with a rep columnist who might contact me on doing a column on my collection - John Czarnecki. Art's number thru the end of Oct. is [phone number]
Call from Claude. Cooper Union has an elementary course in "Commercial Art" starting tomorrow. It cost $15 for 10 weeks. Claude is going and asked me to join him. Would like to, but too short notice.
Looking at THE WAY TO PLAY. They claim more than 2000 games. A few that are a little new to me: ASHTA-KASHTE, ALLEYWAY, HORSESHOE, PLAKATO, GIOUL, CHINESE REBELS, RINGO, CHECKERS GO-MOKU, CONQUEST, BRAX, HALMA SOLITAIRE.
