Since next week was so hectic called Claude to see if he could set
up a date for tomorrow - no, a previous engagement. Later call
from Claude and, among other things, he is interested in pre-
paring a resume on himself and asked if and how he could list his
contribution to EXECUTIVE DECISION. Told him of course - and to write
something out for me to approve.
He got a cabinet maker in his neighborhood to prepare some
wood pcs. for his COPS & ROBBERS game - only $2 and the guy
used scrap wood he had around.
Finished the game indexing thru 9/23.
(cont. from 9/26) [9/30]
approve them. I asked Manny to give about two days warning when
they need them from me.
To "Gamut of Games." Told Linda that it would be better if I give
the SLY corrections directly to Phil Orbanes. Asked her to have him
call me as soon as he gets back in town.
Al Zygier was there. (He is now a part of "Gamut.") I asked and
he gave me the following: BATTLE PLAN #1 and #3 (no copies of
#2 left). #1 has a big article by Al Nofi and an ad for
VICKSBURG: THE WAR FOR THE WEST and also some corrections in the
map. Also notice that the first set of "Command Series" will be
reprinted in small "albums."
VICKSBURG: THE WAR FOR THE WEST and
VON MANSTEINE BATTLES FOR THE UKRAINE - 1941-1944) - took copies.
HITLER'S LAST GAMBLE: THE BATTLE OF THE BULGE - took copy, but
didn't take the box to hold the 2nd "Command Series" - since I didn't
have room.
Also took an ad sheet with the following games listed:
VICKSBURG, VON MANSTEIN, WELLINGTON, THE GREAT WAR; REALM,
INFINITY, LEE VS. MEADE, SARATOGA: 1777, INVASION: SICILY;
NAPOLEON'S LAST CAMPAIGNS, CAMBRAI: 1917, MISSILE BOAT, OMAHA BEACH,
WAR OF THE WORLDS II, ROMMEL. And also a letter from signed by
Bill Vega talking about the next "Command Series" game-
