267th day - 98 days to come

Wrote for information on PUBLIC TECHNOLOGY ASSESSMENT GAME enclosing a SSAE. Also asked for review copy.
Rcd. a copy of a picture pushing PUSHOVER on a children's TV program - with a note from Ed Schifman.
Call from Wald. He asked if I knew anything about "Synergistics Co." He answered an ad in the "Village Voice" for "an assistant to an overworked president." He has an interview coming up and wanted some advance info. Checked and they are in the TOYS directory. Suggested his checking with the T.M.A.
Later checked thru D in the "Trade Names" and they seem to do darts, etc.
Cal from Ruth Cavin of Paddington Press. Apologized for not contacting me sooner. Took my address to send me a review copy of THE WAY TO PLAY [illegible words crossed out]. Then I suggested my picking it up myself, and she appreciated that. Told her that I'd be in next week, and that I'd bring her a copy of S&T if she'd like. She would.
Called "Strand Book Store," to see if they still had the copy of CONTEMPORY GAMES: --- that Claude saw. Was told that they can't check phone inquiries on review books. Maybe I'll write and try to get a review copy - since appar- antly Dan Miller did.
Call from Anne Soucie. She saw Jim Dunnigan on the [illegible word crossed out] Ch 2 11 p.m. news - a short segment with Joel Segal. I didn't watch it.
Almost caught up with game diary, after working on it most of day.
