Wrote to Warren Buell telling him we'll try to hold 10/1, 10/2,
and 10/3 open for his convenience.
Rcd. "Edmund Scientific Co." catalog 761. Nothing new in
games.
Rcd. 1976 "Childcraft" catalog. Lists the following games
and puzzles: SPARE-TIME-BOWLING, PERFECTION, QUIBIC,
TENNIS, ANYONE?, SYNTACTICS, PACHINKO, KEEP QUIET, KLIK;
THINK A DOT; JABBLE, CORNERED, THOUGHTWAVE, CHA-CHA-CHA,
INSTANT INDECISION, MASATER MIND, CONCENTRICITY, A-MAZE-ING,
TURNABOUT.
Call from Felicia. She read me a letter from Elizabeth Brower
concerning "Let's Play a New Game" which she loves. And
about BEYOND TIC TAC TOE, which she liked enough to take home
with her (which Felicia says she rarely does). She had two
criticisms. If VASARELY had been put last instead of first, all
of the other games would be on two facing pages. Also the
diagram in VASARELY wasn't consistant [sic] with play in only that
cube. She'll probably review the book, mentioning these faults.
In her letter she asks if I'd be willing to answer letters on
my article. Yes, if a SSAE is enclosed. Felicia thought that was
a good idea.
