Brought the beam compass to Claude's and left it with him. He gave me the game CASTELLO. (Later discovered that one black piece was missing. Put in one, of completely different shape, that I had around.) Claude also gave me a sheet of wrapping paper with "Breugel's" picture of active games. (Filed on shelf 34.) Loaned me the Sept. SCIENTIFIC AMERICAN. (I can take out Martin's column, ex- cept for the page that has part of an article on the back.) Claude mentioned that in Strand he saw several copies of CONTEMPORARY GAMES:---. The price was $28 but he wasn't sure whether that was for one or both volumes.
