Rosh Hashana, Jewish New Year - 249th day - 116 days to come

Finished the last two SPECTACULARS ("Shifty Eyes" and "Green Eyes"), wrote the material to clarify the drawings on transparant [sic] sheets and BB typed them.
To Boston Post Road and had repros made of the SPECTACULARS. Dropped the originals in the mail box outside of the P.O. - but later discovered that it won't be picked up until noon on Monday.
In variety store on Boston Post Road bought two copies of TANGLE for $3.00. One had a few pieces missing. (I'll check if S. K. Howard wants the complete one.)
Rcd. letter from Haar Hoolim (registered). Enclosed the rules for HOP-A-LONG and SEEJEH and described the material in his letter. Mentioned MASTERMIND and another game by the same inventor (which is BASIS 10 or PRESSUPS); UP WITH THE KING, STACK UP, ON GUARD, LIVE AND LEARN, DOUBLE; SEEGA (in connection with SEEJEH). Rules for his THE GAME OF THREE COLORS. Mention of HIDEAWAY, ELEUSIS, DELPHI, SPHINX, 3 MUSKETEERS, and the rules of an unnamed new GAME. Rules for his unnamed PUZZLE in the same class as SOLITAIRE (Board). Rules for his PAIRS, and for his THE SEVEN STACKS. Mention of BARRICADE.
