Called <s>Marylin</s> Marilyn Nierenberg (she was supposed to call me)
and discussed some points on my article for
THE FAMILY CREATIVE WORKSHOP. I'll go there at 10 next Weds,
and she'll set the photographing for 1 so that she can go over
my material.
Wrote up ANAGRAMS.
Rcd. 2 calls from Miranda Barry of Ch. 13's "Children's Television
Workshop. She got my number from Mike Alber. They are pre-
paring an adult level production dealing with fortune telling
and set <s>in the</s> around the turn of the century. She asked if
"Ouija" was out then. I checked in YOUNG FOLKS ENCYCLOPEDIA OF <s>SPORTS</s> GAMES AND SPORTS
and it wasn't listed there. She liked the "Fortune Telling with Dots" and
I read her the info on it. Her second call was on Tarot Cards - if
they were around then. Told her they dated back to 14th or 15th cen-
tury. She took my address to let me know when the program will be
on- sometime next year.
Got together with Claude and Anne. Gave Claude check for $15.27,
for 2nd quarter EXECUTIVE DECISION.
He picked up two games by "Kardolette, Inc." for a total of $3.50.
The games are KARDOLLETTE and CUKU BRIDGE.
I brought along my large compass to make circles on two pcs. of
cardboard for Claude. He is working on a COPS & ROBBERS games.
General idea: the board is made up of two large discs with win-
dows in places. One player is the "robber" and manipulates the
board - which is held vertically - trying to get his pc.
into a high scoring "loot" spaces. The others try and
manipulate their pcs. to "catch" the robber by landing in the same space.
Gave them a copy of BEYOND TIC TAC TOE and autographed it.
Called John C. Stephenson about the list of names (see 7/11).
By the end of Sept. is O.K. He said that he realized that I was
doing him a favor. (During day.)
