Sent letter for a review copy of EN GARDE!
Rcd. letter from Martin Gardner. He enclosed <s>the</s> a repro of
the FOOTBALL article by Marek Penszko in PROBLEMY and
asked if I could translate it. The game is by Lech Pijanowski.
Called Martin and told him that I had rcd. a copy of the
magazine with a letter from Penszko. Told him that I sent a
copy of AGOG to Penzsko and that I will write and ask him
for a translation. I'll also see if my father wants to translate.
I told Martin that I rcd. the copyright back for AGOG and am
waiting for an answer from Ken Heuer. Martin said that if
Scribner's doesn't want it he has other connections - a partic-
ular good one with Ballentine Books.
Martin has heard from Pierre Berloquin in connection with the
introduction to Pierre's book. Scribners has decided to come out
with 100 JEUX GEOMETRIQUES as a start - instead of a volume
with the three books. Ken Heuer told Martin that there were a
lot of mistakes, in the text and in the diagrams.
Martin would like a copy of BEYOND TIC TAC TOE.
Rcd. a catalog from "Gammon Games", together with an
invoice for 221B BAKER STREET and THE SEX CONNECTION.
(<s>Pretty sure</s> I have the catalog already.)
Rcd. ten copies of BEYOND TIC TAC TOE, with an invoice.
