Caught up on game diary.
Wrote to AGOG reader that I couldn't give him an opinion on
APBA BASEBALL.
Wrote to S.K. Howard. Enclosed rules for PHALANX (Whitman) and
the rules and a sketch of the board for ZODIAC STAR CHESS.
Playing around with ANAGRAMS and thinking of giving a
bonus for putting tiles into a solid figure 2x2 or larger. To
be worked out.
Played QUICK TRIP with BB, each using 2 movement cards that they
pick out at the beginning for the entire game. Worked
very well.
BB finished the woven board for LASCA. Quite nice. I rubber
cemented the poker chips and put black 1/4" contact circles
on one side of each. Playing around with the game and it is
interesting.

that the editor of DAISY would probably run a review of
BEYOND TIC TAC TOE. I told her that I'd have him send a copy to
She said that finances are rough and she is discouraged with so
many things bouncing. One of Alan Newman's things is still
alive at Parker but she is afraid that Andrea Donahue's
taking over for Mike McCarthy might be bad.
Bill Dohrmann has moved up and has a lot of say about everything.
She said that she wants to get me a copy of BALI so that I can re-
view it. Told her that Ed Schifman had already sent me one.
Called Fabio and he will send copies of BEYOND TIC TAC TOE to
Elizabeth Brower and Martin Gardner.
I asked, and he'll check with Barbara Weinstein about what they
can do for the Bloomingdale presentation.
Call from Kevin Zucker of S.P.I. Someone sent him a 3-hand
CHESS variation from Germany. The fellow is interested in having
it published in the U.S. He'd like my advice. Told him that I'd be
