Spoke to Howie Barasch. No mail of any kind for me. He
spoke to David Zea of "Statis-Pro Games." They would like me to
review some of their sports games. He told them that it was
out of my line - but anytime I want any of their games all I
have to do is contact them.
I asked if a copy of TRIPLANETARY had come thru to Richard Berg.
He didn't remember, but he has his own copy. He thinks it
is an interesting idea, but not worked out too well. Plotting the
vector movements with a grease pencil gets very messy.
Called and then met Earl Perel. Ate lunch at an Indian restaur-
ant and Earl insisted on paying. Showed him the "Epoch" catalog. He
wanted to borrow it to get his friend to translate the address
so that he can write to them. Told him I'd get a repro of the
cover for him - bit then we forgot about it.
When got home discovered a note from Dana to call
Martin Gardner and {Bob Reiss [phone number] - Monday morning.
Too late to call Martin.
