letter from Francine Shillet.
Rcd. a royalty report from Hallmark for FITTING AND PROPER and
THE RIGHT CONNECTIONS - both $0.0.
Rcd. a <s>copy</s> letter from "Uneecard Co." saying that I am being sent a
review copy of CHECKMATE, and asking for advice in marketing
it.
Call from Felicia. She wants to go ahead with the deal she called
me about before. I will give (not loan) her $1,500 and she
will write to 3M telling them to sent [sic] 85% of the royalties to me
and 15% to I-S. Her share of HOLIDAY will also go from
25% to 15%; PATTON and MACARTHUR from 15% to 10%. Also
anything I sell myself - including the German deal - will not re-

meet at his apt. tomorrow afternoon.

didn't mention by name but Phil said he knew about). I'm also
to pick up the material he has when I am around.
Call from Annette Thompson of WOMEN'S SPORTS <s>MAG</s> Magazine.
She also got my name from Mike Alber. They have a column-
run by Greg Hoffman, on "Sedentary Sports" and are inter-
ested in photographing some antique games. Told her that I
had very few of these. Told her that, in addition to Parker's
archives, the Essex Institute has a good collection.
She, I believe, was going to suggest that I do some writing
for them, but I told her about Gini Scott. She was quite
pleased with that. (The mag is based in San Mateo, Cal.)
