Call from Felicia. Couldn't read a Bronx street name that someone sent her in a letter. He has some plastic items with patents and she may take him as a client, Found out it was in Co-op City.
Told her that the games I had for DAISY were CHECKERS VARIATIONS and CHINESE CHECKERS VARIATIONS using numbered checkers. She was enthusiastic and will contact the editor as soon as she returns from vacation. Then she'll call me.

Call from Barbara Weinstein, who is an assistant to Doris Bass at Pantheon (7/16). Bloomingdale's at Fresh Meadows would like me there about 10 A.M. on 10/18 for 2 one hour sessions. O.K. I should be getting a letter from Jean Green who is in charge of special events at this store.
Marion Burden of the Hackensack Bloomingdales knows of me thru her sons subscription to S&T. She'd also like to set something up. O.K. with me.

Call from Jay Peterson. He wanted to know what the status of the HARRY LORAYNE MEMORY GAME was at present and I told him about the idea Harry Lorayne and I spoke about on 7/11, the separate cards with faces and those with names - cut out so that the face would show. I asked him how he was progressing. He has preliminary prices on the board and cover and it seems O.K. He is leaving on vacation so nothing more will be done till he gets back.
Bob Reiss has been getting on talk programs and asked Jay to see if there was a book on the history of games he could borrow from me. Told Jay about THE STUDY OF GAMES (should be available in stores), THE COMPLETE ILLUSTRATED GUIDE TO GAMBLING (I can loan him a copy) and A HISTORY OF PLAYING CARDS & GAMES ANCIENT AND ORIENTAL (both available
