'''July 1975 - Monday 14'''
195th day - 170 days to come
----
Rcd. [received] envelope from Walter Luc Haas with repros [reproductions] of rules
for IMURI and PARLIAMENT. (checked with the game
PARLEMENT I already have, and they are different.)
Rcd. letter from Robert Kurek saying he was sending samples
(see 7/6/ under separate cover.
Rcd. letter from Ron Weingartner. He is sending copies under
separate cover of DECEPTION ($5.99) and LUCKY NUMBERS,
NEVADA 15, and PLAYOFF ($3.99 each).

Call from Felicia. She rcd. a letter from Ron Weingartner that he
was sending me games. Told her that I had rcd. a letter from
him. Also that Dick Harris had sent me M.B. [Milton Bradley] games.
At first she said what good is it to be reviewed in S&T <s>and</s>
but, after I told her that some readers are interested in all games,
she asked me to review BALI. Told her sure, just have them send
me a copy.
She is seeing Dick Harris in a week or so. She has something
that another company is interested in <s>by</s> but she'd rather
have it with M.B. She'll also shoe him a cute puzzle-game
by the Scotts that Western is interested in. Se
doesn't want to have too much with Western.
Told her I was working on the article for DAISY Mag. [magazine] She'd
like to have it when the gal gets back from a month's vacation.
She is on retainer with the mag.
Asked her if POP-SHAPE-AND SHATTER model came back from Gabriel.
She thinks so.
She hears that Harold Frankel, after being fired from Kohner,
got a job with a toy company - but is now looking again.
Wrote rules for DARN CLEVER.
Called up main Bronx P.O. for info on mailing material to Germany.
He gave me a lot of info. [information] When I asked, he said he'd sent me a
folder on oversea air mail.
When BB read the rules for DARN CLEVER she didn't like the
scoring versions. I pointed out that she preferred a more casual
game, while I prefer a more structured game. She wanted to
play the 2-hand version with scoring before typing the rules.
We played to 30 points and it took 5 rounds. BB won after
I was ahead all the way.
When I wrote up the multiple player scoring version I had (-)
scores for the players and (+) score for the "Informant" - the
number of cards taken from the deck. By giving the "Informant"
a score for the number of cards remaining in the deck I can
get rid of the signs. Player with lowest total score wins.
